How To Install

Safety first

• Installation must be done by an adult, into a solid ceiling joist or structural beam indoors — or a secure tree branch or rated swing-set frame outdoors. Never into drywall alone.

• Check the mounting point, knot and carabiner before every use.

• Adult supervision is required whenever the swing is in use.

• Maximum load: 300 lb (136 kg). Suitable for indoor or outdoor use — not recommended to leave installed outdoors long-term.

What you'll need

From your box

Mounting plate, screws, daisy chain, locking carabiner, swing.

Your tools

Drill with pilot bit, screwdriver, stud finder, pencil.

Your space

Ceiling height 7.2–9.8 ft (2.2–3 m) and about 6.5 ft (2 m) of clear swing radius.

The six steps

1

Find the joist

Use a stud finder to locate the centre of a solid ceiling joist. Mark it with a pencil.

2

Drill pilot holes

Hold the mounting plate on your mark and drill pilot holes through each screw position.

3

Fix the plate

Drive all screws fully into the joist until the plate sits flush with no movement.

4

Attach the daisy chain

Clip the daisy chain to the plate with the locking carabiner and choose your height loop.

5

Hang the swing

Tie the swing fabric using the knot shown in the printed guide, seam facing upward toward the mounting point.

6

Test before use

Apply your full adult weight gradually and hold for 30 seconds. Re-check the knot, carabiner lock and plate.

Care & re-hanging

Machine wash the swing cold on a gentle cycle and air dry. Always re-tie the knot after washing, seam facing upward, and repeat the full-weight test before a child uses it again.
